I'd like to take this opportunity to introduce everyone to our backyard mascot: a horned toad. He just about lost his head to the lawn mower. Fortunately, I saw him in the nick of time. I think that he's good luck.

Anyway, things are going well for us these days. Griffin was blessed this past Sunday. It was a really nice day. It's nice to have it done too. It was kind of the last real event that we had on the calendar that we had to wait for for Griff. It's just kind of nice to finally have all of those events taken care of.

Griff hit another milestone this past week. Tooth number 3 has arrived. It's on the top in the middle. In fact, we think the 4th is just about there, too.

They are eating all kinds of veggies these days, and, for reasons that I can't understand, they seem to like them. Lily gets pretty demanding when she's eating. She yells at us as soon as she swallows. It's funny because she's not crying, she's basically telling us to hurry up. Griff doesn't yell like that, he just opens his mouth really wide and looks at us like, "I'm ready, please, please, please."

Aside from that, Griff and Lily would like me to express, on their behalf, their excitement about the NBA playoffs, particularly the Jazz. Also, they are excited for their first Mother's Day outside of the womb. They are great little people who love their mother, grand mothers and great grandmothers.

This is right after Griffin was blessed.

Griff is ready to hit the links. Fore!

Partners in crime. I shudder to think that these two little rascals will soon be mobile. It's a pretty cute picture though.

Keeping it natural.

Lily's enjoying a nightcap before heading upstairs to hit the sack.

He wants his beans.

And he loves his beans.

Here's Lily's new favorite face.

Here's another one.

Having some fun outside on a lovely spring evening.

Playing with Grandma at the end of a long day.

Griff is unmatched in staring contests, as Uncle Mark is finding out here.

Playing with Grandpa, thinking about tearing his glasses off of his face.

Griff takes sitting around pretty serious. You can see it in his eyes: no nonsense there.
